I am a tourist guide

I am a tourist guide born and grown up in Bratislava. I love my hometown and after recent 14 years spent in Belgium I decided to come back and help visitors to explore this beautiful city. I would like to share my knowledge of its history. I will tell you some interesting stories related to extraordinary personalities who lived here, and much more.
My guided walks are in Slovak, English and French.  Can be general, thematic or tailored to your needs.

General guided walk of Bratislava

When, why and how did the city build fortification walls and who finally let them dismantled? Thanks to whom did old Bratislava (Prešporok) become a coronation city? In which palaces did perform Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt? I will show you the important streets and squares of the historic city, where aristocratic families, church orders, archbishops, mayors lived. After this tour, you will be looking at the city with new eyes.

Fountains and wells in the city center of Bratislava

City life and water belong inseparably together. Where were the oldest sources of drinking water in the Old Town? How can water adorn the face of a city? Jewish Bratislava

I will show you the places where the Jewish community of old Bratislava (Prešporok) lived. We will go where the Jewish ghettos, synagogues, mikvehs, schools stood. We will mention important Jewish artists, athletes and activists living in Bratislava. The guided walk will be ended close to the „lost city“.
